The Government bodies who give recognition are same for Regular or in Distance mode I.e UGC . In distance mode , there is DEB (DISTANCE EDUCATION BUREAU).So,Companies can not differentiate between a regular and distance candidate.
My friend is a Admission counselor at ICFAI University and providing Master degree in MBA.He got the information

Let me be very clear with this that if you are a graduate and if you are not working in any company, which means that you don't have experience or any job then you should go for a regular MBA. Because no doubt that a regular MBA gives you more exposure and a holistic view of the subjects and the corporate life, but if you are already working in any company then you can go for the distance course because that way you'll not have to leave your job and side by side you can finish your MBA course.
there are some very good institutions offering distance MBA, you can apply for such universities.
