DIT University - Admission Office's selection criteria are both merit and entrance-based. The university admits candidates either on the basis of the merit secured in the last qualifying examination. The university accepts several national-level entrance examinations, such as GATE, UGC NET, MAT, CAT, etc. Students with valid UKSEE scores may also apply for selective courses. Further, the final selection is done based on counselling conducted by the university. For merit-based admissions, candidate's marks in the last qualifying exam are considered.
