Enrollment into the Postgraduate Programme is determined by the scores from the Undergraduation examination, performance in the DJAD Entrance Exam for Design 2023 (DEED 2024), and the Personal Interview at DJAD, Coimbatore.
DEED 2024 and the Personal Interview assess applicants’ design aptitude, evaluating skills in Sketching, Visualisation, Creativity, and Problem-solving.

Hi.The salary for MDes Industrial Design varies on the basis of the location, level of experience, industry, and specific job roles.
The expected average salary for M.Des. at DJ Academy Of Design is Rs 4LPA to Rs 13LPA. For Personal Secretary the minimum salary is Rs 2.0 Lakhs per year, for Accounts Officer the minimum salary is Rs 4.3 Lakhs per year and so on.

Candidates should have passed class 12 in any stream from a recognised board with aggregate 50% marks to take admission in Bachelor of Design course. For Master of Design, candidates should have Bachelor's degree in any stream with an aggregate 50% marks. Candidates appearing in last semester of their Bachelor's degree can also apply.

Candidates will be given admission in BDes and MDes courses on the basis of:
- DEED 2026 entrance exam
- Shortlisted candidates have to next appear in a personal interview, which comprises a Portfolio Review round.

The DJ Academy of Design, Coimbatore, offers admission to both BDes and MDes courses. Popluar specializations to pick from inlcude Industrial Design and Communication Design.
Admission to these courses will be through the DEED 2026 merit rank. During the allotment of seats, higher ranked candidates will be given preference.
