Yes, chances are quite good. Doon University usually has a limited number of seats for B.A. (Hons.) in Spanish, and a Rank of 40 is generally safe if you belong to the General category, and even better if you fall under OBC/SC/ST categories since category-wise reservation is applied. Final confirmation, however, depends on:

Total number of seats in Spanish (generally around 25–40).

Cut-off rank in that particular year.

Your category and counseling process.

Keep checking Doon University's official counseling notifications for confirmation.

Kumaun University offers a total number of 240 seats. On the other hand, Doon University offers 60 seats for the MBA course. The reason for this difference in seat intake is because Kumaun University offers MBA seats through its Management department and constituent campuses. Further, Doon University only offers MBA seats through the university's campus.

Kumaun University offers a total number of 1,110 seats. On the other hand, the Doon University only offers 50 seats for the BBA course. The reason for this big difference in seat intake is because Kumaun University is affiliated with around 12 colleges that offer BBA courses in general and honors degrees. However, Doon University does not offer BBA courses with affiliated colleges.
