Kumaun University offers a total number of 240 seats. On the other hand, Doon University offers 60 seats for the MBA course. The reason for this difference in seat intake is because Kumaun University offers MBA seats through its Management department and constituent campuses. Further, Doon University only offers MBA seats through the university's campus.

The total number of offered seats for the adission of students are 50. This number could change and hence, indicative. The limited numver of seats create a competition between applying students.

Doon University offers a limited intake capacity BTech course. A total of 40 seats are available for the students to apply. Some seats are reserved for the reserved category candidates. 23% of seats are given for SC/ST students. 14% is given to the OBC, and 10% is for EWS. Rest are for the general category.
