Douglas College

The application process at this University is done through the official portal available. The mode of application is completely online for Indian students. The application fee is CAD 100 (INR 6,005).

Make sure to gather Official transcripts of academic credentials, English test scores, SAT, ACT, GMAT or GRE score, Bank support letter in case of a loan before you apply to the University.

Here are the steps to complete an online application process:

Step 1-Choose a program: International students have to choose a programme among various bachelor's, diploma, and certificate programs and the eligibility criteria.

Step 2- Fill out the application form: Apply and submit the required documents via Education planner BC (EPBC)

Step 3-Pay application fee: Students must pay the application fee of CAD 100 (INR 6,005) for the programs. 

Step 4-Wait for a response: The Douglas College will review the application and within a few weeks they will provide an offer letter to join the program.

Step 6- Pay the deposit to accept the Offer and receive a Letter of Acceptance (LOA): To get enrolled in the first semester, international students have to pay tuition fees according to the course.

Step 6- Apply for a Study Permit and prepare to arrive

International students need to provide the following set of documents while applying to Douglas College:

·         Academic transcripts  (original and English-translated)

·         Douglas application form (scanned copy of printed and signed form)

·         Proof of English proficiency (official scores directly from the organisation of conduct)

1. Academic Requirements

Undergraduate Programs (Diploma and Associate Degree):

·         A minimum of overall 60% aggregate in the final year of high school

·         A minimum of 'C' Grade or a score of 60% aggregate in Grade 11 in either Mathematics or a relevant subject as per the intended course

Postgraduate Programs (Post-Degree and Post-Baccalaureate):

·         A three-year Bachelor degree completed from a recognised institution

·         A minimum score of 60% aggregate'

*BC secondary school refers to High Schools in British Columbia. Hence, these two waivers apply to international students who have pursued their school education from Canada under certain circumstances.

3. Other Admission Requirements

·         Applicants must be at least 17 years old at the time of entering a programme or the latest by the end of the first month of joining a programme for all diplomas and associate degrees

·         Applicants must be at least 19 years old at the time of entering a programme or the latest by the end of the first month of joining a programme for the English Language Learning and Acquisition (ELLA) program

·         International aspirants transferring to Douglas from a post-secondary institution within Canada must provide a minimum GPA of 2.0 to pursue a full-time program
