If the students meet the entry requirements, an offer letter shall be sent within 7-10 Business days. This offer letter will include instructions on how to accept the offer and provide the deposit. After this, provisional attestation letter will be issued based on IRCC needs. After this, apply for a study permit.

Douglas College Canada accepts TOEFL / IELTS score as a proof of English language proficiency score. IELTS requirements are given below:  

  • TOEFL iBT score of 83
  • IELTS score of 6.5 overall. For post degree and post-Baccalaureate programs, minimum score required is 6.0 for each band

Douglas College is the largest college in British Columbia, Canada. It is educating around 25,000 students each year. There are two major campuses of this college in Metro Vancouver and a number of smaller training centres in Surrey, Burnaby, and Maple Ridge. Douglas College has two campuses in Metro Vancouver within British Columbia.

The New Westminster campus houses the international student office as well as two major buildings named Royal Avenue and Anvil Tower.

Being a non-research bachelor's college that works towards preparing industry professionals, Douglas has industry tie-ups to help students gain real-world exposure alongside education. Thus, international students are allowed to work while studying to gain as much exposure as possible through customized, government-funded programs.

Working Hours

Douglas College is quite selective in its admission process. Hence, the acceptance rate is not very good for both national and international applicants which stands at 25%. Meaning that out of every 100 applications, only 25 students were rolled out an offer letter.
