Candidates willing to seek General MBA admission at BRAOU need to appear for any of the two common entrance tests, including APICET/ TSICET. However, MBA in Hospital & Health Care Management applicants need to appear for a university-conducted written test, followed by a GD and PI round to seek admission. Moreover, aspirants shall first check out the eligibility criteria. The open university accept applications of only the eligible candidates. The application form can further be submitted via online mode.

Apart from Dr Br Ambedkar Open University's B.Ed course, the University also offers a B.Ed (Special Education) course. BRAOU offers B.Ed (Special Education) course across three specialisations which can be chosen at the time of admission as per interest and seat availability. Unlike the regular B.Ed course, BRAOU Special B.Ed course is offered for a minimum duration of two-and-a-half years, and a maximum of five years.

BRAOU admission for a two-year postgraduate MA course is open to all the citizens of India who hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an Indian University which is recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission. The selection for MA will be based on merit in the last qualifying exam.
