Dr. DY Patil Institute of Technology accepts admission through lateral entry for students who are not from Maharashtra. Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) admission is available for Diploma holders and BSc degree holders in the institute. The qualifying criteria for non-Maharashtra students both Indian and International students, include a Diploma in engineering and technology or BSc with 45% marks from UGC recognised university and Mathematics in HSC. B.Tech admission process follows the or through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE, Maharashtra. The institute offers lateral entry admission facility in 06-24 numbers

An excellent fee structure has been established per year for B.Tech in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology, Pune.
The charges in the first year include INR 1.17 Lacs as tuition fee, development, and laboratory fees.
This fee will not be altered over the entire duration of the course, which will last for about four years.

DY Patil Institute of Technology Pune accepts the MHT CET entrance exam scores, followed by the MHT CET counseling process. During the MHT CET last-round cutoff 2024, the cutoff percentile was 97.59 for admission to the Computer Engineering branch for the General HS category students. So, no, candidates with a percentile of 93 are not eligible to get into Computer Engineering at DY Patil Pimpri.
