If the student has chosen a programme that is more than 6 months in length, then they must hold a valid study permit to study at Durham College. The student can work off-campus if they are registered as a full-time student at Durham College. The college also offers co-op study permit if the student has a co-op or placement or internship. The student can also apply for a work permit after post-graduation where they can get the permission to continue staying in Canada and work full-time up to 3 years.
