First, you have to do graduation in economics in which you will learn the various subjects of Economics itself. Like micro Economics, macro Economics, Development Economics, public Economics etc. Then, go for Masters. MA in economics. Hello,
Check the syllabus well. Mark the easy and important topics. Always follow the basic strategy- understand the topic, make short notes, close your eye & try to recall the topic, read it again (if concept includes calculation or derivation, rather that recalling practice it). Now solve the relevant questions on it. Analyze your performance and work on the weak sections. Never take UGC NET Paper 1 for granted. It is a practical subject which requires a lot of practice and it is capable enough to fetch you good marks.
