Candidates can join the Delhi School of Economics (DSE) through either of the following modes:
Merit-based admission: This mode is open only to students who have completed their undergraduate degree in Economics from Delhi University (DU) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.
Entrance exam-based admission: This mode is open to all students who have completed their undergraduate degree in any discipline from any recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates). The figures of placements of both the college's in 2022-2023 is as follows-:
Symbiosis College of Arts & Commerce Pune-: Around 218 students got placed in various 30 companies and the highest salary package offered to students was almost Rs. 21.5 LPA and the median salary package offered was Rs. 5.3 LPA UG and Rs. 7.3 LPA PG respectively.
Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics-: According to the college prospectus 2023, the highest and average package offered was INR 19.25 LPA and INR 4.25 LPA during NM College placements 2023, respectively.
