* MA Economics is a 2-year full-time post-graduation programme to sharpen student's dexterity in areas of finance and management. The minimum eligibility criterion required for a Master's degree is 50% aggregate in Bachelor's degree in any discipline. * Entrance Test Mode A candidate must have secured at least 60% or 1st division or equivalent CGPA in any Undergraduate/Postgraduate degree in any subject. The NTA has released the UGC NET Result 2019. You can check your result by visiting the official website of NTA UGC NET. To qualify this exam you have to clear the minimum cutoff marks. Once you qualify the UGC NET Exam, then it will be so easy to get a job as an Assistant Professor. Reservation is available for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and for other categories. So, it is a plus point for you. Best of luck.

You can do commerce with Economics, as it is a more specialized course, language will help mostly, if you want to go outside India. But, communication with Economics will get you better jobs in India.
