The best colleges are: Presidency, St Xaviers and Jadavpur University are good but if you don't have any problem in relocation then you can consider below listed colleges :Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Lovely Professional University, Jamia Mililia Islamia University, University of Mumbai, University of Hyderabad, Sri Ram College of Commerce, Lady Shriram College for Women, Miranda House. Fergusson College, Pune, Banaras Hindu University, Jai Hind College, Mithibai College, Loyola College Chennai. St. Xaviers College, Kottayam.

Both the courses are best in their own place. It depends on your interest. More than 50+ colleges offer economics honours but only 10+ colleges under DU offer statistics (Hons). I would suggest you do statistics (Hons) from Sri Venkateshwar College because if you do this course and get good marks and knowledge of this subject then you will get easily placed in an MNC.

Stats from both Ramjas and KMC is good. I can say the same for Economics hons for Ramjas. Khalsa had a reputation for violence a few years which has improved and considering the opinions of my peers from Khalsa, it is a satisfactory college. Also, as per my knowledge, English and Economics faculty is damn good there. So, it's your call now.
