Please find the eligibility criteria for pursing economics honors from Christ University below:
A pass with minimum 55% in any discipline from any recognized Board (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / IGCSE / IB) in India or abroad. Candidate should have studied Economics / Mathematics / Statistics at the +2 level.
Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May 2016 may apply with their class X and XI marks.

Ya for sure you can give jee mains paper-2 . Compulsory subject for paper -2 is mathematics ! However for many other B ARCH exams u should be from science stream because physics as well as chemistry is also asked in those exams like (AMU B ARCH , Jamia B ARCH)

If you want to study pure science in undergraduate level or engineering - keeping PCM in +2 level will work well. Moreover if you are interested to study Economics in undergraduate level and like to keep level playing field in undergraduate level with Economics then only you can go ahead with Economics in + 2 level.
