Hi Aditya,
In India, you can pursue BA or BS in Economics. If you areinterested in Statistics you can opt for a degree in Statistics. Further specialization is offered when you pursue your masters. For colleges you can check the options here

Hi Rajat
There is no course like B.com in economics as Economics is considered to be a humanities subject. You can pursue B.A eco hons only if you had mathematics in grade 12 as it requires lot of higher maths , statistics and is considered to be one of the toughest course. You may look for colleges here:

Chances of getting job after +2 in Economics are very limited. You will have to study more to build your career. You can do BA(Hons). This will open multiple options after graduation. After graduation you can pick up a research assistant job in financial services company. You can appear for Civil Services or Economic Service. Post graduation in economics will enhance your opportunities.

Hi Manik,
Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - i.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile i.e. Manager/ AVP, etc. Thus one cannot allocate a figure.
