As per the CTET Paper-2 syllabus, both languages are compulsory. Child development and pedagogy is another topic carrying 30 marks.

Mathematics & Science or social studies & social Science are the subjects carrying 60 marks. Keeping your Mathematical background in consideration Mathematics & Science can be the good option.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 5395 and closing rank was 5847. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 2284 and 12359. Admission to BSc in Economics in IIT Kharagpur is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The eligibility criteria to apply for the BSc (Hons) course in Economics at Maulana Azad College is cleared Class 12 with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate & 50 percent aggregate in Mathematics or 50 percent in Business Mathematics (passed Business Economics also) for students applying through the West Bengal Board and 50 percent in aggregate & 50 percent in Mathematics /Business Mathematics for other boards. Yes, Maths is mandatory in Class 12 to get admission to the BA (Economics) course at Hindu College Delhi.
