Electrical engineering always wins over electronics engineering when it comes to practical world. You can easily get an electronics seat over an electrical, and it is always prefred. After B.E / B.Tech if you are an IES aspirant then electronics is not considered as a branch ( only core branches are included, including electrical engineering ).
