Many PSUs conduct direct recruitment on the basis of marks scored in GATE instead of conducting their own separate recruitment examiantion. Electronics Engineer will also be required to qualify GATE in order to secure a job in PSUs. After qualifying for the exam with good marks, students may get a job in PSUs.

Yes, Candidates who wish to become a professor after BTech in Electrical Engineering will also be required to complete MTech and PhD in the required discipline.They must clear GATE in order to pursue M.Tech and later pursue PhD in the same discipline. They must demonstrate excellent research skills by grabbing fellowships and submitting research papers across SCOPUS indexed journals.

Yes, Electronics Engineers are also recruited by the DRDO. The organisation releases notification in case of any requirement or vacancy in the pertinent discipline. The recruitement to DRDO is done on the basis of an open-recruitment process which attracts the brightest minds and experienced candidates from the country.

The average fee for studying BTech Electronics Engineering range from INR 5 lakh to INR 13 lakh. It depends upon the respective institute in which a student is enrolled. Private colleges charge more than government institutes, with the cost going as high as INR 20 lakh, considering boarding and lodging fees. Students can also avail scholarship facilities provided by many private engineering colleges by maintaining academic performance in entrance examinations as well as in semester examinations.

You need to have at least 50% marks in Class 12 from a recognised board. Must score a good rank in entrance exams such as JEE Main and JEE Advanced in order to secure a seat in top IITs and NITs and pursue BTech in Electronics Engineering. They can also appear in other state-level and national-level entrance exams in order to pursue BTech from other reputed institutes.
