It appears that ECET, Eluru does not have a student on-campus hostel or mess of its own. Most students live in private hostels very near the university. Thus, the quality of food in the "hostel mess" changes a lot based on what private facility a person selects. Although particular private places are commended for their food by some reviewers, others have complained about it.

Even though B.Tech admission in the ECET, Eluru is based on Andhra Pradesh EAMCET results, there are other admission criteria used too. That means looking at JEE Main scores. In addition, some universities may give NRI or management quota seats to students which allows admission to degree courses without Andhra Pradesh EAMCET results, as long as the student meets the basic course requirement and qualifying exam. It is important to get information about scholarships by contacting the college.
