Even though B.Tech admission in the ECET, Eluru is based on Andhra Pradesh EAMCET results, there are other admission criteria used too. That means looking at JEE Main scores. In addition, some universities may give NRI or management quota seats to students which allows admission to degree courses without Andhra Pradesh EAMCET results, as long as the student meets the basic course requirement and qualifying exam. It is important to get information about scholarships by contacting the college.

Getting a valid rank in the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam is the main requirement to apply for M.E./M.Tech at ECET. Aspirants must meet academic rules, getting at least 45% (40% if reserved) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics after 10+2. After that, students take part in centralized counselling and the seats are assigned according to their rank and preferences. Candidates must have an Andhra Pradesh ECET rank and a related Diploma to apply for lateral entrance.

The amount of the admission fee at ECET depends on the course you take and how you get admitted. For B.Tech courses in Category A through Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, the fees is about INR 35,000-40,000 every year, so the total fees is between INR 1.40-1.72 Lakhs. An MBA programme each year costs about INR 31,800-35,000. Fees for M.Tech can be between 50,000 and 70,000 each year. You have to pay more when applying under management quota. These numbers usually don't include extra costs and actual fees may increase every year.

Indeed, Eluru College of Engineering and Technology (ECET) enjoys a reputation, mostly in Andhra Pradesh. In 2008, the university was established by permanent linking to JNTUK and AICTE and has been given an 'A' grade by the state government. Admissions due to state entrance exams, well-kept buildings and a placement cell connecting graduates to top companies are big contributors to the college's fame among engineering students in the region.

ECET is a private engineering college located in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh. The Padmavati Educational Society manages the institution, which is entirely self-financed. Although it is always tied to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK) and is approved by the AICTE, AMU does not belong to the government.

Admission to VIT-AP University and SRM University for B.Tech programs is primarily through their respective entrance exams. VIT-AP requires candidates to qualify in the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) for B.Tech admissions.Currently, VIT-AP does not offer lateral entry admissions through Andhra Pradesh ECET

SRM University conducts the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) for B.Tech admissions.

While some SRM campuses offer lateral entry programs, admission is typically based on their own entrance exams rather than Andhra Pradesh ECET scores.
