With a 10% acceptance rate, Emory University is extremely hard to get in for international students. According to an unofficial source, the university follows strict admissions policy and takes a holistic approach that takes into account both academic and non-academic factors. In addition to academic performance, the university prioritizes involvement in extracurricular activities, rigor of secondary school record, academic GPA, and application essay during admission. Students must aim for excellent academic score and participate in extracurricular or volunteer activities to improve their chances.

Emory University expects a cumulative GPA of 3.8 on a scale of 4 (as per class profile of 2028). Scoring a good GPA can have a positive impact on students' resumes. Along with the GPA, excellent standardized scores, and English proficiency scores can equally benefit the student's selection chances. In addition, international students must also take care of letters of recommendation, which must come from the teacher who taught the core academic area including English, Math, Science, Social Sciences, Global/Foreign Language, or Visual Performing Arts.

The Emory University acceptance rate is 10%. This demonstrates the university is extremely selective when it comes to admission. International students from over 100 countries apply for Emory University admission every year, but only 10% get enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs. However, students can still make a place in the university by improving their academic performance, scoring high GPAs, standardized test scores, and English language proficiency. In addition, the university gives precedence to the students who have some relevant experience in the field and take part in extracurricular activities.
