For admission, candidates must note JEE Main 2026 dates: registration for Session 1 begins in Nov 2025, admit cards release in Jan 2026, and the exam is scheduled for Jan 2026. Session 2 registration opens in Feb 2026, with admit cards in Mar 2026 and the exam in Apr 2026.

No, for the OBC category students, the maximum cutoff rank for CSE admission was 1454 in 2025. In the initial rounds, the cutoff ranks were more competitive for admission. So, students seeking admission to IIT Mandi must target securing a rank of up to 1400 to improve their chances of getting admission to the CSE branch.
