Almost, all the colleges including the private one's consider JEE Mains marks for admission. The cut-off generally varies from college to college and also on the basis of that year's JEE cut-off.
Some colleges also offer direct admission on the basis of class 12th marks.

It depends on the college, if you want a private collection then you can get admission by getting 60 marks in JEE Mains but if you want NITs you need to get 250+ marks.

If you're qualified in JEE mains, your application will be accepted. But, it's compulsory to have studied Mathematics in PUC to apply any stream of engineering in Presidency University, Bangalore.

Hello
No, it is not that much important as what our society made it. This is just a hive created by our society and coaching institute that IIT is the best and there is not other way to become a successful person in the life but this is totally wrong yes one can make career from IIT "yes IIT is one of the way to scucces but not the only way to success" so don't panic much just do what ever you are doing and go for the exam on 8th April and face bravely without thinking much and if you succeeded, then okay if not then there are lot of other options.
All the best.
