its not compulsary to give jee advance and advance score gets u admission in IITS and mains score takes u to NITS and other clgs and there is not affect on ur mains score if u dont give advance. but according to me u should try it.

use reso rank pridictor and compare the cutoffs with last year. and i dont think u can get there easily.

Cut-offs vary year after year, hence I would request you to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.

Hey Maninder,
If you feel like you can crack it to the top then you should drop the year. Otherwise dropping an whole year leads you to certain problems afterwards. Its better to find a good private university and get enrolled. They are also having good infrastructure nowadays. You can also apply for their own entrance exam and may avail scholarships also.
