Yes, Anna University does accept the TNEA counselling results for admission to various BE course and its branches. The TNEA counselling process is based on the class 12th marks for admissions to Government and Government-aided engineering colleges. 

Colleges affiliated with this university also accept the TNEA results. The counselling result is published in various rounds, in the form of opening and closing ranks for different All India categories, like General, OBC, SC, etc.

According to the Anna University TNEA cutoff 2025, General AI category students need a rank of at least 239138 if they want admission to the CSE course at Madha Institute of Engineering and Technology. The cutoff needed for Anna University and its affiliated colleges would depend on the category and college. 

Students can see the table below to know the maximum rank required for other AI categories for the CSE branch at various Anna University-affiliated colleges.
