Civil engineering is a good branch. The professors here are very good. We have proper equipment for surveying and material testing and everything. Companies like LnT, Tata steel, Mahindra and Mahondra etc come for placements.

The studies in Manipal are good. The teachers are very particular about taking classes and have a good knowledge of their subjects. The hostels here are also amazing. The rooms are big enough and you can select what type of hostel you want (double/triple/ac/non ac etc). All the streams here are good. Go for the stream you like.
