Hello Swaraj
Firstly, think about weak areas in which you need more practice select your good and bad topics in every subject physics, chemistry, maths, etc. Then, try to give time to each subject every day and do revision on the weekend for whatever you read in the entire week. Try to solve previous year question papers on every weekend so that you can be aware about your level and your weak areas. Don't overload yourself and no need to be stressed. Do 15 minutes of meditation every day in morning and evening. It will help you in proper concentration. According to me, start your study at 4 in the morning and try to clear your concepts

Yes, it is possible. First year is cool and hardly needs much study, second year needs some study but not too much but in 3rd and 4th year you need to be serious towards study. You can manage time according to it. I don't think it will be hard for you if you are passionate about film making. Take help from friends and don't skip important classes and exams. Best of luck.

Go for your self-study, since the syllabus is only your academics with some verbal aptitude and English. Just pick the right book for your practice, like made easy publication. Then, go for some mock test in the coaching site like GATE forum, then register for the mock test and for test series. This will help you in preparation and practice, and also you can track your timing for a given question. Just do hard work and focus and concentrate on your studies. Practice some previous papers of 3-4 years. Best of luck. For any further query please feel free to ask.

GATE is being conducted by IIT - Roorkee this year. You can visit website and download syllabus. There are many institutes claiming for success. But, knowing the reputation of such exams, it has to be taken with a pinch of salt. You should know your fundamentals and polish them.

For civil engineering, you must have a good knowledge of mechanics. So, you must opt for physics and mathematics. In addition, for concrete technology, you need some knowledge of chemistry. If you are interested in subjects such as biology and chemistry, you can go for environmental engineering which is a sub-branch of civil engineering. In summary, you are expected to have a good knowledge of mathematics (mainly differentiation, integration and binomial theorem) and physics (mechanics, elasticity, circular motion, Newton's laws of motion, etc. ).
