Students will be able to check their BITSAT exam details through the hall ticket. The information regarding the allotted exam centre, slot and more will be available in the admit card. Students should check the details carefully so that they know where they are supposed to report for the entrance exam.

If the students log in late to complete the BITSAT slot booking, then there are chances that their preferred slots are filled up and unavailable. Therefore, the students are advised to login and complete the slot booking as soon as possible.

The BITSAT slot booking facility will be available for the two sessions, separately. Students will be apply for both sessions, but they will have to complete the slot booking process separately. Once they are logged in, the preferred slots available at their exam centre has to be selected and submitted.

Must have a min. of 60% aggregate in Class 12 from a recognised board with PCM.
Admission is determined by merit, written exam, GDPI and varies by college.

To boost time management skills to finish the BITSAT paper in advance and to attempt the additional questions, the students should practice with mock tests and sample papers. By practicing the mock tests with the official exam duration, the students will be able to learn how to allot their time for each section and questions.

During the final days before the BITSAT exam, the students are advised to focus on the chapters which they have already studied. New concepts and chapters should be avoided. Students should strengthen the topics they have already prepared. Mock tests and revisions should be given more importance.

Candidates can find the GATE 2026 mock test papers on the official website- gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The mock test link will be activated a few months before the exam. Aspirants can attempt the GATE mock tests for free using a dummy email ID. The mock test links are available for all 30 branch papers. With the help of the GATE mock test papers, candidates can get an idea of the exam pattern, difficulty level, and high-weightage topics.

The following ID proofs are accepted for GATE 2026 registration -
- For Indian Nationals - Aadhar, PAN Card, Government- issued ID, Passport, Voter ID, and Driving License.
- For International candidates - valid passport/Government- issued ID or Driving License.
Candidates can submit/upload any one of the following.
NOTE: Applicants must carry the one that they have uploaded in their application form.

Candidates can avail the scribe facility in GATE 2026 by uploading a valid disability certificate or UDID. Candidates can avail the GATE scribe assistance while filling the application form. According to the government guidelines, the scribe's qualification must be a minimum of two academic year's below and a maximum of three academic year's below (the minimum qualification for appearing in GATE 2026).

A caste certificate in the regional language is not acceptable. In that case, what you can do is convert it into English language by the authority (where you got it issued). After getting it converted, scan it properly and upload it in PDF format while filling the GATE application form 2026.
