While JECRC University is a Tier-2 Engineering institute of Rajasthan, the institute has a strong reputation for its placements, wide range of recognitions (UGC, NBA, AICTE, etc.), and industry connections that help design course curriculum and secure placements for students.

Students can find out if the tuition costs are justified by comparing fees with placements:

  • Tuition Fees (BTech): INR 3.48 Lakhs - INR 7 Lakhs.
  • Placements (Overall): INR 6 LPA (Average) and INR 33 LPA (the highest Package).
  • ROI: The university offers a strong Return on Investments with fresh graduates being able to hypothetically make up their fees within a year.

With 70 percentile in JEE Main, it is unlikely for general category students to admission in core branches of BTech at SVU. However, less popular specialisations may have lower cutoffs. If you are aiming for Computer Science/ AI & Data Science specialisations, then 70 percentile is not enough. Students can connect with the admission team to know about the estimated cutoff ahead of official cutoff release.

With a 77 percentile in JEE Main, getting into Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is possible, but the branch will depend on the admission round and seat availability.

CSE and other top branches are unlikely at this percentile, but branches like Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Biotechnology, or Electronics-related branches may still be possible in later rounds. If you're also eligible through the board-based admission route, your chances can improve.
