Yes, industry projects are part of the Computer Science and Business Systems program at LPU. The course is designed with a mix of technical and business subjects, so students usually work on projects connected to real industry use cases like data analytics, software solutions, and business applications. Many projects are guided through workshops, internships, hackathons, and industry interactions. The overall structure helps students understand both coding and business decision making, which is useful for placements and practical exposure.

The only ways of admission to a private engineering college in Bangalore like RVCE, BMSCE or MSRIT are through state-level entrance-based counselling through KCET or COMEDK or direct private admission.

3. Family income below INR 6 lakh/year can qualify for 50–80% need-based fee concession

4. Waivers apply strictly to tuition; hostel, mess, and miscellaneous charges are fully excluded

LPU is established through an act of the Punjab State Legislature and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), which gives the university the authority to offer engineering and other professional degree programs. Many students become confused about AICTE approval for universities. In India, universities recognised by UGC generally do not require separate AICTE approval for conducting regular degree programs such as B.Tech because they
