Quantum University is good for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, especially if you want practical learning along with theory. From a student point of view, I feel the mechanical department is strong and the teachers are supportive.
The university has all the important mechanical labs like workshop lab, fluid mechanics lab, thermal lab, strength of material lab, and machine lab. In these labs we get to work on real machines, tools, engines, and different mechanical equipment. Teachers guide us step by step, so even difficult topics become easy to understand.
The course covers all the main subjects like thermodynamics, manufacturing process,

Among the most effective strategies of passing MHT CET exam is to use previous year papers. No book or mock test can get you better acquainted with the actual exam than they do. Here are the key benefits:
1. Understand the Exam Pattern
- Previous papers show:
- Number of questions

The way HETC admissions through JELET are conducted.
HETC admits JELET to lateral entry (i.e. to 2nd year) with a Diploma in engineering/ technology.
With 2024 counselling, HETC B.Tech (lateral) courses were ranked last with the general-category, with most courses ranging from in the range of 7760-7916 (across branches) to allocate seats.
Caution 410 rank is probably not high enough.
410 is a far better position than 7760 - however, JELET ranking is such that the lower the rank the better the merit. Wait, that is that 410 is higher merit than 7760.
However — there's a catch. The announced range of the scale of the rank that was used to

Yes, you can be admitted into B.Tech Computer Science in the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) even though you have not appeared in any entrance test, but again this is based on the admission system of that particular year.
What IUST Usually Requires
- For regular B.Tech admission (including CSE), IUST favors applicants who have a JEE Main score. The first round of counselling through JEE Main Merit fills most of its seats.
Application With No Entrance Exam.
- If you have not yet written JEE Main or any other entrance examination, then you can be admitted only under the following conditions:

1. At what age does your son have to start coaching for IIT?
It has three perfect points of entry, depending on the speed of your child:
- Option A: Enter in Class 11 (Most widespread and not less than enough)
The majority of IIT toppers start coaching when they are in Class 11.
Coaching Class 11 -12 (2-year program) is just sufficient to crack JEE Main and Advanced.
This leaves Class 910 free to construct basics and score highly with the boards.
- Option B: Major in Class 10 (Early foundation - optional)
Beneficial in case your son is interested in physical sciences ahead of his age in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

If you are a student of a Rajkiya Engineering College (AKTU) and studying Electrical Engineering, then a 610 LPA placement is definitely possible, though it is primarily due to off-campus preparation. Core companies seldom visit such colleges hence you need to develop skills that will expose you to more opportunities.
1. Choosing the Right Career Path
The most realistic and high-demand jobs in the 6-10 LPA job range are:
- Software /IT (Developer, QA, Support Engineer)
- Machine Learning / Data Analytics.
- The only electrical core jobs that tend to provide low packages are those that do not crack the PSUs.
2. Learn In-Demand Skills
