BSc Computer Science scope in India is decent. Given that you have good skills and relevant experience/ projects in your resume. You can apply for roles like - Software engineer, Web developer, Data scientist, Database, Cybersecurity analyst, Data analyst etc. If you have a good track of research, thesis, etc. then you have scope in research & academia as well. Though a few places might prefer a pure tech degree, there are still ample companies hiring BSc CS graduates.

The 'better' course depends on various factors. Some of the core differences between the two are covered below:
BSc Computer Science: A 3-year UG academic degree in Computer Science. Usually preferred to get into research & academia. Though one can also work in roles like developer, analyst, or engineer after this course if they have a relevant skillset. Though the curriculum has both theory & lab work included, it is still more of a theory-driven course focused on CS fundamentals. BSc CS has a shorter duration, an easier entry, and an affordable cost.

For so many reasons! Aeronautical Engineers are the ones who design, manufacture, and maintain aircraft and drones. The planes you see flying in the air, whether it's a civil plane or a military aircraft, are a product of Aeronautical Engineering.
Their technology, safety, advancement, and sustainability are all part of Aeronautical Engineering.

Yes, it is compulsory to fill BITS HD application even if you have GPAT or GATE score. At the time of filling form, candidates need to mention the medium from which they want to apply for. Registrations are open till April 20, 2026.

The BGS Institute of Technology has a separate Training and Placement cell to guide and prepare its students for future industry roles. Here's the current B.Tech admission criteria at Thapar University (TIET) — straight and short:
Eligibility
✔ 10+2 (PCM) with at least 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST) in Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subjects.
✔ Appeared in JEE Main 2026 (or equivalent) — this is now the main mode for top engineering branches.
How Seats Are Filled
📌 50% seats based on JEE Main 2026 rank (All India merit).
📌 50% seats based on 12th PCM marks (board merit) for some branches — but many core branches now admit mainly through JEE Main.

NIT Patna cutoff 2025 for the SC AI category ranged from 147 in the first round to 208843 in the last round for admission to various BTech and Integrated BTech. MTech and BArch courses.
On the other hand, NIT Patna JEE Main cutoff 2025 for the SC HS quota varied between 365 and 192695. Students can refer to the table below to know the last round cutoff for various courses for both the SC All India and SC Home State quota.
