For the admission in B.E./B.Tech, candidates appearing in the Higher Secondary or 10+2 examination with 45% marks in Science stream comprising Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects are eligible for admission at Durgapur Institute of Advanced Technology and Management (DIATM). Admissions are strictly on merit and West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination vacancies account for 90% in total. Furthermore, up to 10% of seats can be reserved based on scores in the JEE Main. In addition, Diploma holders may also gain lateral entry by appearing in the JELET examination.

The cutoff for LBS Institute of Technology for Women in KEAM varies with course and category. Admission to second year B.Tech through Lateral Entry is done on the basis of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJELET).

No, admissions to any course at the Truba Institute of Engineering and Information Technology are not open currently. The college offers only BTech and MTech courses. Admission to the courses is done based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main and GATE exams respectively and the applications for these exams are currently closed.
