To avail of the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) reservation benefit, candidates from the general category who fulfil the required criteria can apply. The EWS certificate is issued for one year and its validity expires on March 31 every year. To avail of the reservation benefit under EWS, income and asset certificates issued by the competent authority have to be submitted. To apply for the GATE exam, the candidate has to fulfil the GATE eligibility criteria. These criteria include details such as age limit and minimum educational qualification. There is no internship facility on campus and placements are also with very low packages and the average package is Rs 4 to 5 lacs per annum.

Our college placement is around 50 to 60 percent. The average package goes up to INR 7 LPA, and the highest package goes up to 22 LPA, which is offered by Goldman Sachs. The roles offered include those of system engineers and data scientists.

Depending on your interests and professional objectives, you can choose between ECE at Don Bosco College and CSE at Sambram College. With its emphasis on software development and programming, CSE provides improved employment opportunities in the IT industry.  ECE offers a wide range of opportunities in the communication and electronic sectors.  Although both universities are respectable, Sambram is frequently more known for its IT-related courses. 

Previous PGCET cutoffs for the M.tech in Environmental Engineering program at NSUT, West Campus, show that admissions are largely determined by GATE results, with cutoffs for general category students ranging from 400 to  600 GATE score ranks. These cutoffs differ depending on the applicant pool and year.

The B.E. in Computer Engineering fees of Gokul Global University are actually moderate in comparison to some private universities but may be on the higher side for others. For instance, the fees are largely in the range of INR 80,000 to INR 1,20,000 per year which may not be too high considering the cut-throat private engineering colleges.

As per the latest information, in the 2023 India Today rankings, COER University was ranked #177 among the Engineering colleges in India. Earlier in 2022, the university was ranked #183 under the same category. Upon comparing both years data, it was observed that the university showed improvement in 2023 in terms of ranking.

SIRT Bhopal accepts scores of JEE Main entrance exam for admission to a four-year BTech programme. However, for other courses, the college considers the past academic merit of Class 12. Candidates must submit the JEE Main score at the time of admission and participate in DTE counselling process.

The GATE exam has 30 test papers, and candidates can apply for at least two papers from the two-paper combination list. It will be conducted online, and candidates will be shown questions on the computer screen. For calculations, candidates will be provided with a virtual scientific calculator that will be available on the computer screen.

Candidates must be well aware with the virtual calculator and start practising as soon as possible to improve accuracy with solving questions.
