The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted by the IIT Guwahati. The authorities will soon announce the GATE exam dates for 2026 session. 

The GATE 2026 application fee during the extended application window is INR 1,400 for female, SC, ST and PwD category candidates. For all others, the fee is INR 2,300. Vellore Institute of Technology conducts VITMEE exam to offer admissions to higher education like MTech and MCA. VITMEE consists a total of 100 questions, out of which 80 questions are techncial and 20 are based on English communication skills.

The normalisation procedure depends on the number of shifts and difficulty level of the exam. Candidates must know that normalisation process will be applicable if the CUSAT CAT exam is conducted in multiple shift and all shifts were found to have different level. If the CUSAT CAT exam is conducted in only one shift or the difficulty level of all the shifts is same, Then there will be no scope for normalisation.

Yes, candidates can get admission to MTech programme at SEAS, Ahmedabad University without GATE score, which is an optional exam for the selection. Students without a GATE score must appear for a college-level written test. After that, the final selection will be done based on a personal interaction round.

The CUSAT CAT Rank list is prepared considering several factors. The exam authority prepares the Rank list only for the qualified candidates. All candidates who have scored a minimum 10 marks in each of three subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Although Kerala SC and ST candidates don't have any such specific criteria. SEAS Ahmedabad University admission to BTech programme is entrance-based. Candidates are offered admission based on a valid JEE Main/ CUET UG score. Aspirants must pass Class 12 or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics, and additionally Chemistry (if applying for Chemical and Environmental Engineering) with at least 45% aggregate to meet the eligibility requirements of the programme.
