Candidates are not allowed to get direct admission to M.Tech courses at NIT Jalandhar. To be eligible for admission, candidates must complete their BTech courses with at least an aggregate of 60%. Candidates must have appeared in the GATE entrance examination and CCMT counselling.

A pass in Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology /Biology /Computer Science /Computer Application/ Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to reserved category is required to apply for BTech course. Additionally, candidates must have passed Class 12 with English with at least 30% aggregate.

The National Institute of Technology Jalandhar offers a four-year full-time BTech course, covering several specialisations. To apply for the NIT Jalandhar BTech course, candidates must have valid JEE Main scores. If you are not giving JEE and still want to do BTech in CSE from good university then you must score descent marks in your 12th standard and give CUET exam. But if you don't want to give that exam also, still you can take admission in good college through management quota or by giving donation.
But make sure you reach out to them as early as possible because it is difficult to take admission in good college when you are late

IIIT Guwahati released its last round cutoff across all India and female categories for CSE and ECE courses. Among both courses, the most competitive course was Computer Science and Engineering, with a rank of 28255 for candidates belonging to the General AI quota.
