Yes, admission to various postgraduate and undergraduate courses at VTU is based on merit and accepted entrance exam scores. The accepted entrance exams are KCET, COMEDK UGET, JEE Main, DCET, and others. Students must prepare well for the JEE Main exams. Fill out the mock Main application form timely. University Department of Information and Communication Technology, MGM University admission to the M.Tech programme is made if candidates meet the minimum eligibility requirement set by the University. For admission to the M.Tech programme at the institute, candidates must pass BCA/BSc/BCom/BA with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects with at least 50% aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).

For admission to M.Tech course at University Department of Information and Communication Technology, MGM University, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. The selection criteria for this course are MGMU - CET/ GATE, PERA CET + Counselling and candidates must pass BCA/BSc/BCom/BA.
