Yes, you can appear for JEE Advanced 2024 if you have passed class 12 in 2023. As per the eligibility criteria, a candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2023 or 2024 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates who had appeared in Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2022 or earlier, are NOT eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2024, irrespective of the combination of subjects attempted/offered. By appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination, it is meant that the Board concerned declared the result for that y

Hello Sandeep!

With above mentioned rank you have limited options for NITs. However, few NITs you can get for B.Tech Electrical Engineering are:

  1. NIT Arunachal Pradesh for B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering
  2. NIT Manipur for B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering
  3. NIT Mizoram for B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering

However, all these institutes need a minimum of 75% in class 12th in PCM from a recognised university.

I hope it will help. You can reach out to us for further queries.

Thank You.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board administers the test (GSEB). A state-level entrance exam is called GUJCET. The organisation behind GUJCET Counselling is the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). The exam scores are taken into consideration while alloc

A score of 250 and above is considered as a good score in JEE Mains which is equivalent to 15000 to 35000 rank and 85 to 95 percentile. With this candidates can land on top NITs like NIT Delhi, NIT Rourkela, etc., and also qualify for JEE Advanced. Check here what is a good score in JEE Mains. This year the cutoff has increased by 2.45% in comparison to JEE Main 2023. JEE Main Cutoff 2024 for the general category is 93.23, for EWS is 81.32, for SC is 60.09, for ST is 46.69, and for OBC is 79.67. You stand a strong chance of being admitted to a number of prominent government engineering institutes in India if you have a SC rank of 4789 in JEE Mains. Keeping in mind that real admissions are contingent on a variety of variables, including the quantity of seats available, the level of competition in that particular year, and the unique cutoffs for each institution, here are some choices to think about: Technology National Institutes (NITs): Warangal Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, NIT Trichy Surathkal, Karnataka's NIT Rourkela NIT Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), including NIT Calicut: IIIT Jabalpur, I

Yes, you can get into a good engineering college based on your board exam scores and JEE Mains performance. Some state-level exams and private universities consider your board marks. For NITs, IIITs, and many state colleges, your JEE Mains score is important. Apply for counseling through JoSAA or state counseling. Also, consider private universities that accept JEE Mains scores. Keep track of deadlines and cutoffs to maximize your chances of admission.
