instead of reading the answers over here, which are highly inaccurate, you should refer to the Official JOSAA or CSAB Website brochure for understanding which documents are required if you are applying for a private college or BITS or any other Institute, which does not come under JOSAA THEN YOU SHOULD REFER TO THAT PARTICULAR INSTITUTES WEBSITE

let me be honest right now because of the recession. The software industry has decreased the number of jobs for foreign countries. However, the highly skilled Software engineers are able to secure a foreign placement, but for that you need to be from an elite university, such as NIT, IIT or BITS as generally students from private or tier three colleges are not able to secure foreign or international placements on campus. There are honestly a lot of private engineering colleges in India, and what counts as “top” really depends on what you're looking for. Some students prioritise placements, others care more about campus life, exposure, or peer quality.
