Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology does offer lateral entry to BTech programme. Students selected for lateral entry get direct admission in the second year of the course. Candidates must pass a three-year Diploma course in Engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate from State Council of Technical Education of any state or equivalent to apply for BTech (LE).

SGBAU JEE Main cutoff 2025 was released for the CSE branch based on the JEE Main entrance examination, followed by the JoSAA counselling process. In 2025, the hardest college for admission was Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon based on the last round cutoff rank of 108067. In 2024 and 2023, the same round cutoff was 71593 and 77258, respectively. Based on these ranks, we can say that the competition for this college for the CSE programme has been decreasing over the years.
Note: Other categories, rounds, etc., will have different cutoffs.

SGBAU CSE cutoff 2025 was released for admission to various All India categories. For the General AI category, the round 1 and last round cutoff ranged from 93928 to 412869, respectively. Please keep in mind the other categories will have different cutoffs accordingly. Students can refer to the table below for the round 1 and last round CSE cutoff for the General AI category.

SGBAU JEE Main cutoff 2025 was published for admission to various BTech course for various All India categories. For the General AI category, the BTech CSE cutoff ranged from 93928 in the round 1 to 412869 in the last round. According to the last round, the most and least competitive college to get admission into was Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon and Babasaheb Naik College of Engineering, Janata Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, respectively.
Please note that the cutoff for other categories will differ accordingly.

NIT Warangal EWS cutoff 2026 ranged from 554 to 8421 in the first round. Hence, EWS HS category students need to attain a rank of at least 8421 to be qualified for admission in the first round.
For the EWS AI quota, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 402 to 4766. In both quotas, the most competitive BTech course branch was CSE.

For the General AI category, the competition has been decreasing from 2024 to 2026 (in the first round). For the OBC AI category, competition from 2024 to 2026 has also decreased.
For all the other All India categories, like SC, ST, EWS and PWD, the cutoff has been fluctuating. See below to know the cutoff in detail for the AI quota. Please note that other categories will have different cutoff trends.
