IIIT Bhopal offers a four-year BTech programme across three specialisations in full-time mode. These include Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Information Technology. Admission to the BTech course is mainly based on the cutoff score as listed by IIIT Bhopal. As for the BTech specialisation Computer Science and Engineering or CSE the cutoff score were as follows:

As admission to IIIT Bhopal BTech progrmme is entirely based on JEE Main exam, therefore, candidates are to submit documents that is relevant for the JEE Main exam. Before JEE Main 2024 registration, students must keep the following documents and information ready for a smooth application process:
- Valid email id and mobile number
- Academic details related to the Class 10 and Class 12 qualifying exams
- Scanned copy of the category certificate (if applicable)
- Scanned copy of the PwD certificate (if applicable)
- Scanned photograph and signature as per the specification mentioned by the NTA
- Net banking/ credit card/ debit card/UPI details for appli
