IIIT Bhagalpur provides a two-year MTech programme in five specialisations: Signal Processing and Machine Learning, Electric Vehicle Technology, VLSI & Embedded Systems, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, and Microwave & Communication Systems. For admission to the M.Tech programme, Candidates must appear for the GATE exam followed by CCMT counselling.

Students with Bachelor's Degree with minimum 60 percent marks and valid GATE score are eligibile for the MTech course at IIIT Bhagalpur. They should register for the exam through the GATE official website.

There are three BTech specialisations for BTech at IIIT Bhagalpur namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering. Mechatronics Engineering has 33 seat allocated, meanwhile other two specialisations have 66 seat each. Admissison to the BTech specialisations includes a valid scoe from the JEE Main exam followed by counselling.

Candidates should official AUEET eligibility criteria before registering for entrance examination. If candidates do not meet eligibility criteria, then they will not be considered eligible for admission. Ineligible applications will be rejected. Candidates should have qualified 12th class examination conducted by a recognised state or central board.

For BTech and M.Tech dual degree admissions through AUEET, the candidates will be able to select their choice of course. The available courses for AUEET BTech and M.Tech dual degree admission are - Computer Science & Software Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Networking, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering and Instrumentation Technology. Candidates are advised to check the courses carefully before making their choice.

AUEET seat allotment result is released online. To check their allotment status, candidates will have to log in using required details. Allotment result will be shown on screen. Candidates can download and print out seat allotment letter for future use. Allotment will be done based on candidate's rank and preferences.

For the AUEET counselling, the candidates have to pay a fee. Reserved category candidates have to pay INR 250. Other category candidates have to pay INR 500. The payment has to be done online. No other mode of payment will be accepted.

AUEET 2026 counselling dates will soon be announced. All qualified candidates have to participate in counselling for admissions into available courses. AUEET counselling will be held online and seat allotment result will be declared after considering candidate's rank, preferences and seat availability.

It is upto you. One single form is released for both the exams. Candidates can select in the online form, that whether they want to appear in both COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE exam, or in any one of them. Both the exams are held at national level, however, COMEDK scores are accepted by colleges across South India. But, Uni-GAUGE scores are accepted by colleges across India.
