NIT Sikkim offers BTech programmes with a duration for four years. BTech programme at NIT Sikkim is offered in five specialisations namely Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. For admission to BTech programme candidates need to take the JEE Main exam and aslo secure minimum 75% (65% for SC/ST/PWS) in class 12 exam.

The admission authority declares the KEE result after the completion of the exam. Since the exam is to be held in various phases, the result shall be decalred after each phase as per the schedule mentioned by the varsity. The result is made available online at the official website, i.e., karunya.edu. Candidates who qualify for the exam can proceed further to the next stage.

Computer Science Engineering is the most popular specialisation under BTech programme in NIT Sikkim. The cutoff for BTech CSE was 30095 in 2021 which increased to 34085 in 2023. As for the placement, NIT Sikkim has an concluded its 2022 placements with 80.84% and the BTech students received 100% internship oppurtunities in reputed organisations. Check below for more reasons to join NIT Sikkim for BTech:

Yes, it is 100% possible to get into IIT Jammu for BTech with a JEE Advanced rank equal to or less than 12000. However, the same is not possible across all specialisations. General category students of All India Category can get into BTech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical and Materials Engineering branch if we go by the closing ranks of 2023. For more clarity on the IIT Jammu R1 and R6 closing ranks of BTech specialisations which are possible to get into with a rank such as 12000:

Candidates registered for second phase of MET can book their slots later. If they do not book their slots before last date, then they will be automatically given exam slots by authorities. These slots cannot be changed.

During MET slot booking, candidates have to select their exam city and slot according to preference. Exam slots will be given to candidates according to submitted preference and availability. If first preference is not available, then the next will be considered.

Class 12 with a 60% aggregate in the Science stream is the basic eligibility for BTech at IFHE Hyderabad. Only the students who meet this criteria are eligible for admission. In addition, candidates must also hold the Class 12 mark sheet (original and photocopy).
