Global Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET Telangana) has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
| Courses | Eligibility |

| MBA/PGDM | Candidate must have passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration (Except Oriental Languages) and secured the above mentioned percentage. 45% is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved category. Candidate who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also be eligible. Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program/ Open Distance Learning (ODL) within the jurisdiction of University should have recognition by joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB. |
| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidates who have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in Civil Engg./Construction engineering / Civil and Environmental Engg. (or) equivalent from a UGC recognised University/ Institute. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates over TS PGECET qualified candidates. Candidate must have secured 50% marks in group subjects taken together in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category). |
