Applicants appearing in the exam have to complete the VITMEE slot booking using their login credentials. The Vellore Institute of Technology has announced the VITMEE exam dates on the official website. Applicants appearing for the VITMEE exam must be aware of the exam dates, so that they can stay ahead with their preparation. VITMEE exam is scheduled for April 28, 2026 and May 3, 2026. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions in the VITMEE exam. Applicants appearing in the exam have to carry their VITMEE admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre.

Vellore Institute of Technology will conduct the VITMEE 2026 exam online (computer-based) test. Applicants appearing in the exam have to carry their VITMEE admit card 2026 along with one valid photo ID proof. Applicants are advised to practice a mock test to get verse with VITMEE online test interface. The authorities will not conduct the VITMEE exam 2026 offline.

Applicants can refer to the VITMEE admission process below.
The first step is to pay INR 1200 application fee in online mode.
Applicants should register for VITMEE, a Computer Based Objective test at indicated test centres.
The list of short-listed candidates will be published on the website or personal SMS will be sent to the registered mobile number for online VITMEE counselling.
Shortlisted Candidates will be asked to choose the preference of campus and branch. Selected candidates will have to pay an advance payment of INR 1 lakh.
