Candidates with a valid BE/BTech degree from a recognised university can apply for NIT Jalandhar MTech course. Aspirants must have scored at least 60% aggregate to apply. Aspirants must have the relevant documents for verification.

The National Institute of Technology Raipur is recognised as the Institute of National Importance and is funded by the Government of India under the National Institutes of Technology Act, 2007. The institute was ranked 65 in the Engineering category by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2022. Talking about NIT Raipur placements 2022, the average package ranges between INR 11.87 LPA and INR 15.86 LPA for the Engineering branch. So, considering both the ranking and placements, NIT Raipur is good for Engineering.

The total tuition fee for a two-year MTech is INR 1.4 Lacs (except for M.Tech AI). The tuition fee for M.Tech in Artificial Intelligence (AI) course is INR 2.72 lakh. This given fee is for regular M.Tech candidates. For the candidates belonging to a self-sponsored category, the tuition fee is INR 2.2 lakh, while the SC/ST category candidates are exempted from tuition fee payment. It must be noted that the given fee is as per unofficial sources and hence may vary.

During NITJ placements in 2023, 554 job offers have been made as of now. The highest and average package offered was INR 51 LPA and INR 12.44 LPA, respectively during placements at NIT Jalandhar. For 2022, NIT Jamshedpur BTech (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering cut off was 33843 for the General category candidates in All India quota. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 53278 was the closing rank. Moreover, the BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
