The same can be said for the OBC AI category for the same specialisation. In 2023, 322 was the cutoff score, jumping a little ahead, it reached 326 in 2024, and further rose to 358 in 2025.

For the General AI quota, the IIT Ropar CSE cutoff 2025 ranged between 2357 and 2512. For IIT Patna, the cutoff range was between 3215 and 3377. Similarly, for IIT Mandi, the cutoff range was between 3087 and 3123 in the General category. So, considering the cutoff range, the IIT Ropar cutoff for CSE was comparatively more competitive for admission among the Engineering aspirants as compared to that of IIT Patna and IIT Mandi, as they have relaxed cutoffs for BTech admission.

For the General AI quota, the IIT Madras CSE cutoff 2025 stood at 171 in the first round. Till the last round, the cutoff remained the same, indicating all seats got filled after the first round of the JEE Advanced cutoff. For IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay, the CSE cutoff ranks were closed at 126 and 66, respectively, for the same category. So, considering the cutoff ranks, the IIT Madras cutoff for CSE was comparatively less competitive for admission among the Engineering aspirants as compared to that of IIT Delhi and IIT Bombay.
