The cutoff for IIT Trichy differs according to categories and rounds. For the General AI category, the cutoff ranged from 350 to 427 across various M.Tech specialisations. For the OBC category All India quota, the cutoff score for admission fell between 320 to 410. No, for the OBC category students, the maximum cutoff rank for CSE admission was 1454 in 2025. In the initial rounds, the cutoff ranks were more competitive for admission. So, students seeking admission to IIT Mandi must target securing a rank of up to 1400 to improve their chances of getting admission to the CSE branch.
