The KEAM exam is generally considered to be of moderate difficulty, making it easier than JEE Main. Chemistry is easy, Physics and Mathematics are moderate to tough.

For the 2026 KEAM exam, the highest weightage topics are Calculus, Vectors, 3D Geometry (Mathematics), Mechanics, Thermal Physics, Electrostatics, and Optics (Physics), alongside Organic Chemistry and Thermodynamics. Engineering exams have 75 Math, 45 Physics, and 30 Chemistry questions.

No. Not completely. Candidates should follow the syllabus provided by CEE to prepare for KEAM and cover all syllabus in the KEAM syllabus to ace the exam.
