Students should not start any new topics just a few days before Assam CEE. They should focus on preparing those topics which they have already studied. They should also revise daily.

Yes, PES University is a good option for pursuing mechanical engineering. The plus point of getting admission in PES University is it provides placements in the final year of the course. The infrastructure, faculty, and other facilities are wonderful.

The qualifying cutoff varies each year. The Cutoff for JEE Main 2023 is 90+ percentile for General Category, 75+ percentile for EWS category, and 51+ for SC Category.
For getting admission, you have to get rank up to AIR 900. Beyond that your chances will get decreased.

Yes, you can get admission in Mumbai university for B.Tech course through JEE Mains.
But you can get admission in government college if you score more than 90%.
The cut off is always high.

During Assam CEE preparation, students have to focus on revision. This will help them to remember topics they have already prepared. Revision is important because students can check their preparation progress for exam. Daily revision is important.

The tuition fee waiver / concession in IITs and NITs are as follows:
For GEN and OBC students having annual family income less than Rs. 1 Lacs and all SC, ST & PwD students: 100% tuition fee waiver. Only fee in other heads like exam fee, hostel and mess fee, gymkhana fee, etc., need to be paid.
For GEN and OBC students having annual family income between Rs. 1 Lacs and Rs. 5 lakh: 2/3rd waiver in tuition fee. Only 33.33% of tuition fee need to be paid.
For GEN and OBC students having annual family income above Rs. 5 Lacs or those students who are not desirous of obtaining fee waiver or have not submitted income certificate: Full tui
