While KJ Somaiya College does not have a specific dress code, students are encouraged to dress decently. The management and heads of departments have emphasized the importance of maintaining a respectful and appropriate appearance. It is advised for both boys and girls to avoid wearing excessively revealing clothing to prevent any potential issues. Food provided by mess is very delicious. There is variety of food available to students and no meal will be repeated in a week. Separate food is prepared for South and North side students. Non veg food is not available in mess. Students are provided with 4 meals a day that is breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Many food stalls are available for students with reasonable prices.

No. The candidates will not be required to apply separately for admissions into the various campuses of BITS. The authorities will conduct a centralized counselling process for BITSAT qualified candidates. The process will be held online for all qualified candidates who wish to apply for B.Tech admissions into the three campuses - Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. Selection of candidates for admissions will be done based on their BITSAT rank, preferences and seat availability. The seat allotment result will be declared online.

At KJ Somaiya College, admissions are primarily based on the state entrance exam, MHT CET as well as the national level exam, JEE Main. The college follows a standardized admission process, and direct admission is not typically possible. As far as my knowledge goes, admission is granted through the Common Admission Process (CAP) session, where students are selected based on their performance in the entrance exams. While I don't have information about any secret or alternative admission methods, it's important to note that the college may update its admission policies or introduce new procedures in the future. If you are not allotted a seat in the first round of JoSAA you do not need to reapply or submit a separate application form for the second round of counselling. Once you have registered for JoSAA your application remains valid for all subsequent rounds of counselling. You will automatically be considered for seat allocation in the following rounds, including the second round. It's important to keep track of the seat allocation results and participate actively in subsequent rounds to maximize your chances of securing a seat in your desired institute and course.

The marks needed are to be more than average like you need to have a CGPA of greater than 7 to get admission here easily and with normal fees, anything below that would require you to pay either more fees or you would have to wait until there is an empty seat left after the process.

After the candidates are allotted through the BITSAT 2023 seat allotment, they will have to confirm their admission before the final date. Confirmation of admission can be done by the candidates by reporting to their allotted institute and pay the required tuition fee and submit the list of documents. If the candidates fail to confirm their admission before the final date, then their candidature will be cancelled. Therefore, the candidates are advised to report to their allotted institute as soon as their allotment is confirmed.

The college life at KJ Somaiya strikes a balance, offering a diverse range of teachers. While some instructors possess high qualifications and extensive knowledge, it is possible to encounter a few who rely heavily on textbooks. Nevertheless, the overall crowd at the college is decent, fostering a positive learning environment. One of the highlights of KJ Somaiya College is the multitude of clubs and societies available. These platforms provide excellent opportunities to enhance your skills and broaden your horizons.
